Love this beautiful engagement shoot by Briana Marie Photography! The shoot took place in gorgeous Napa Valley, which is where I would like to do my engagement shoot as well! The vineyards and open land is just gorgeous! She has some adorable outfits on too.

I have always loved when people bring in props for their engagement shoot. Normally they are props that hold meaning or that the couple has interest in.
The thing I love about the engagement shoot is that the photographer really captures the happiness of the couple. These pictures show that this is a fun couple and have great energy together!

I was incredibly excited about this idea, but it was one of those that I never had time to actually complete when the event came around. I had the idea of people writing wishes, memories or cute notes to us and hanging them on a tree. I found these "All you need is Love" tags from Tucker Reece, and just fell in love with them! Last minute I decided to go through with the idea and have people write the cute notes and hang them on a tree that we already had in the backyard. I wasn't able to make a cute sign, but fortunately one person asked what it was, and it started a chain reaction of note writing! Loved using the colored Sharpies too. It turned out to be adorable and all the things written were just cute!
The "Wishes" was made by Tucker Reece to go along with the little tags. I grabbed some ribbon (33 cents!!) and really small clothes pins from Michael's and printed some pictures out. That was all I did to create this cute detailed area!
We got some personalized little tags that matched our invitations from Print Your Party. One side said our names and the other had a monogram on it. I hung these between each picture!

It seems like it is engagement shoot season as they seem to be popping up everywhere. I love engagement shoots because it is different setting than the wedding, but it still expresses the love of the couple.

I love balloons. I know they are already quite the trend, but I think they are phenom and wanted to show some of my faves anyway. I definitely want to add this in the engagement shoot and in the engagement party plans!

As soon as I saw this engagement pop up, I was instantly obsessed with it!
Let me take just a second to state my extreme love for the tech and entrepreneur world, mixing that with my other love of weddings-this is was the PERFECT engagement for me to come across.
A helicopter ride turned into a priceless moment when they flew over an island with huge words made of coconuts, "Will you marry me?" Look how excited she is when he pops out the ring! Priceless picture! After landing on the island to check out the coconut words, there was a part 2; dinner and lounging with the sunset and candles everywhere. Such a gorgeous engagement session, and the photos just capture it perfectly.
Oh, and look how gorg the ring is! I love the idea of sapphires on the side (I actually wanted a sapphire wedding band to give my ring color).
I love this engagement! It is purely amazing, I just had to share!
