Hollywood Glam Wedding by Jessica Velarde

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. That is really the only way to describe todays wedding. The bride, the details and that gorgeous sky make for a totally perfect day for a wedding. Jessica Velarde is the photographer of this wedding, and is a very inspiring one. This hollywood glam meets modern wedding has a very classic feel to it with that lace dress. Darling.

{Heritage & Craft} Bay Area Vintage Rentals

The Bay Area has a pretty legit wedding scene. With Napa, Carmel, Santa Cruz and SF, there is literally something for everyone. But up until now one thing we didn't have was a vintage rental company. Finding one-of-a-kind pieces for your wedding can be challenging to say the least (believe me, I'm doing it. Luckily my mom is really enjoying the process so has pretty much taken over finding all the vintage finds.) The time and the money are almost not worth finding those perfect pieces for your wedding. Then let's all applaud Erin from Bustle Events for notices this need and working incredibly hard to fill it. Thanks to her we all now have access to those expensive little finds that we LOVE but can't get behind paying for, along with a lot of pieces that you literally can't even find anywhere. Heritage & Craft goes one step further by offering a selection of custom made furniture to fit your need exactly. Basically it is your one stop shop for everything amazing and adorable and unique.

Barnyard Beauty by Shannon Leahy

Today is just filled with Shannon Leahy events isn't it? There are so many gorgeous events that she has been a part of that I just can't help myself. To continue with the theme of lovely fruit in the wedding, here is a wedding with an entirely different color palette. I love how all the elements work together to create such a wonderful color palette. The florals are to die for, and of course, I'm loving the fruit. ...maybe I should consider adding some to mine?? What do you think of the details and elements that create this organic and unique palette?

Lavender Love by Shannon Leahy

I sing praises of my planner Shannon Leahy all the time. Not only is she totally amazing and helping me keep my head straight, she is a totally wonderful designer. This was one of the shoots that sold me on her and I knew that she would be the perfect choice for me. I love how organic this look is. A touch of nature, a touch of lavender and a touch of fruit create the most romantic picnic I have ever seen.

{For Brides} Bustle Black Label

I'm very excited about Bustle Black Label because I can see the amazing possibilities it holds for you brides out there. This service is the mixture of 3 very talented Bay Area vendors who have come together to work their magic as a whole for your wedding.

Floral Theory is a Bay Area florist that specializes in creating totally unique florals that roll with texture for a wonderful wedding day look. She has done many amazing florals one of which was for Liz's Wedding.

Next up is Bustle Events, an event design and paper company. If you are thinking against hiring a designer for your wedding, you should think again because Erin from Bustle creates some amazing designs as well as some unique paper products that will be the icing on the cake for your wedding.

Finally is Christine Taylor Photography. I have not had the chance to work with her as I have with the other two but from stalking her site and blog, it is quite clear that she is an incredibly talented photographer who will capture your day just perfectly.

You may have caught this photo shoot that was featured on Style Me Pretty a few months back. This was the amazing combination of these three vendors working together.

From experience I can say that I would love if my combination of vendors had worked together in the past and had their groove going. Undoubtably it would make the entire look even more amazing because they could work with each other to create something that compliments the other.

When you book the services of all three of these vendors, you get to take advantage of discounts on all three! So basically this service saves time and money (two things most brides don't have ample amounts of these days) and you know you are in incredibly wonderful hands. Find out more about Black Label.

Both Floral Theory and Bustle Events are listed on The Inspired List!

{Makeovers and Deals} The Inspired List Take 2

The Inspired List launched under 3 months ago and since that time has been a reliable resource for brides looking for an intuitive way to search for vendors. Our goal was to create a brand new vendor guide that took the screening process and the large fees out and left brides with ample choices for every budget and style. Afterall, its YOUR wedding, right? In honor of this mini-makeover we are offering all you vendors a pretty MAJOR deal. And I really am talking major. For the next 4 days (now through Monday) we are offering all vendors 1 year on The Inspired List for only $180! That is 3 months of advertising on The Inspired List FREE! To sign up for this special offer, e-mail: allison@engagedandinspired.com

We launched the first version while having major ideas of ways to make it SO. MUCH. BETTER. While our original layout worked just fine, we wanted to create a layout that focused on each vendor one at a time. And so, we launch version 2. (While still having SO many ideas to make it better and better in the coming months. Stay tuned for those.) So here we go with the little makeover to make the site ever better. We now have over 400 vendors listed in The Inspired List and more signing up every single day.

The new design offers a cleaner view of photos, descriptions and relevant information for brides. Without even opening a new page brides can see all the photos, read a tidbit, find out where they are located and their typical budget.

So many more changes are to come, so stay tuned for some pretty amazing changes, partnerships, and new features! We are working as hard as possible to get this little site of ours up and running and continuously making it better and better as the days go by.

Head over the theinspiredlist.com to check out the new and improved Inspired List.

(And let's all give a massive round of applause to Ian for designing and doing all the other geeky stuff on The Inspired List. With everything I want him to do (wedding invites, our wedding site, blog re-design, and The Inspired List...to name a few. Wow, I'm pretty demanding, aren't I?) , I know that his plate is good and full, yet he never ceases to amaze me with his talent. I'm one very lucky girl for this and many many other reasons.)

Soft and Simple by Carly Bish

This shoot pretty much speaks for itself. The gorgeous colors

This wedding was put together by a group of talented wedding vendors in Washington to establish a working relationship while pouring over such beautiful inspiration. From Carly, "Establishing good relationships with people and wedding vendors I can trust is a pretty big deal. Being able to say confidently to brides, “If you’re looking for a _______, you should definitely check out _______,” is such a relief, both for me and the bride." This couldn't be more correct and I admire their approach in "testing" vendors before referring. You know you're in good hands now.

As far as the shoot goes, it pretty much speaks for itself. The colors are bold, the lighting is soft and the shoot is just plain beauty.

Oregon Charm Wedding by Christin Rose

This Willamette Valley wedding is a perfect example of the magic that is Oregon. The fall colors of this wedding match the space and the scene perfectly. Her dress is very fairytale-esque which makes for some great photos as can be seen below. The rustic venue offered plenty of greenery for an enchanting event.

{Guest Post} Escort Cards by Every Last Detail

Today's post comes from the always fabulous and always amazing Lauren from Every Last Detail. Her blog is so incredibly inspiring and is a definite must-read for all you brides out there. And now, here you go! When Allison asked me to guest post, I was thrilled and SO excited! I wanted to do a post that's true to my own blog, and so I thought I would do an extended, more detailed take of my weekly {Detail To Love} feature.

This {Detail To Love} isn't just a current love of mine- it's long lasting. One of my absolute favorite wedding details ever. What might this detail be you ask? It's escort cards and items! Note: I add in items because it's becoming popular to use actual items (commonly doubling as favors) to escort guests to their seats as opposed to the traditional cards, and because I LOVE them!

The greatness of escort cards and items is all in how they look. They could be set up on or in something different, or the cards/items themselves could be completely unique and reflect the whole style of the wedding flawlessly. Let's take a look at some of the awesome escort card/item setups I'm loving....

Traditional...

Go the traditional route and add your own twist to it with different patterns of paper!

Decorative...

Add a little something to your traditional escort cards and voila, you have adorable escort cards with a little pizzazz.

Cards but not really....

Use something that meant to be an escort card and just attach the names to them. With something like the below example, you could even have your tables named with the colors, and not even numbered!

Hanging cards...

Oh how I love hanging things! Having your escort cards hanging is a great way to grab people's attention!

Photo by Cheri Pearl, via Style Me Pretty

Vertical display...

This escort card display is another hanging one, but this time the cards are on a magnetized board with a fabulous frame. Another great way to get guests' attention!

Escort items...

And finally, my favorite. These little books have the guest name on the spine, and the table number on the front as the "title". They doubled as guest favors, and added a fabulous element of decor to the whole wedding!

There are SO many different ways to display escort cards, and I'm pretty much obsessed with them all- that is, as long as they're not traditional! Tell us, what are some of your favorite ways to see escort cards/items?

I hope you all have enjoyed me sharing my love for escort details! A big huge thank you to the fabulous Allison for letting me guest blog for you all!

{Guest Post} White Romantic Wedding by Blush Printables

Today's my birthday. :) Luckily I am in New York to celebrate the big 2-3 just right! And luckily for you guys, I am posting an uber amazing, uber creative, and uber everything else shoot. I'm. In. Love. Let's just say that I will definitely be pulling some inspiration from this shoot and adding it into my little wedding plans. Without further ado, I give you Jen from Blush Printables as our surprise blogger! And this shoot will anything but disappoint on this amazing Thursday that is my birthday. Enjoy! Lace covered mason jars, antique typewriters and rustic birdcages were blended together to create the ultimate vintage-romance wedding.  Photographed by Michelle of Shadowbear Photography, this Florida wedding is full of inspiration and charm.

Baby’s breath and hydrangeas fill mason jars wrapped with lace while a vintage typewriter is set out for guests to leave a little note. Escort cards, gently hung around twine, float above the rustic table for guests to find their seats.

Rosie and Michael’s delicate wedding invitation was carefully designed with a vintage border. Their wedding colors, moss green and plum, were used throughout their wedding day stationery.

Every last detail of this vintage-romance wedding was carefully put into place. Chalkboard name cards, each handwritten, were set beside each place setting while custom menus rested on top. The menus, boasting the couple’s favorite foods, mimicked the intricate vintage design from their wedding invitations.
