The thing I love the most about this wedding is the color palette. A year ago you couldn't get me to go anywhere near the color red. But something about the changing seasons and my love for something different makes me love and die over red in weddings. With the bright aqua touches, I think the palettes blends really well together and gives a different approach to a country wedding which is so unique. My next favorite has got to be those hankie escort cards! What an amazing idea.
From the bride: Daniel and I have known each other since high school but it wasn't until the summer after I graduated that I realized how charming he was, and by charming I mean that my 17 year-old self thought that Daniel showing my how indestructible his nextel phone was and promising he'd help me get a job with the school district, which he did, was considered charming and after almost 7 years together we were getting married! Daniel proposed at Disneyland, after a long day with my family enjoying the park, he got down on one knee in front of the teacups and I couldn't have been more excited!
My vision for our wedding of a rustic, shabby chic look came partly from living on our 3 acres we call DA Ranch and our love of cowboy boots. We brought the vision to life with handkerchief place cards, burlap table cloths and mason jars and milk glass filled with red, yellow and white flowers. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Everything represented us perfectly! The best moment of the day was seeing my groom for the 1st time! It was the sweetest, most loving moment I've ever had!
