{Guest Post} Desert Wedding by Landlocked Bride

Today's surprise blogger is non other than Brit from Landlocked Bride. I am sure you have all seen her amazing blog with inspiration and details to the brim, but if you haven't, it is a definite must see! She is bringing her gorgeous style over to Engaged & Inspired for the day with this wonderful dessert wedding. Enjoy! Cassandra and Steven got married in the old western town of Prescott, Arizona. Besides being this lovely desert wedding, it had a vintage chic feel to it. Not to mention it sure helped to be able to capture a few shots at The Palace, one of the oldest working saloons in the U.S.

Be prepared to swoon over delicate and sweet details, and adorable flower children.

{Guest Post} Fall Destination Weddings

Today's surprise blogger is the fabulous Adrienne from Destination Diva. She is here to bring us some lovely fall destination wedding inspiration. Enjoy! Destination Weddings do not have to be on a beach but can be anywhere from a national park, such as Yellowstone, to the fun filled adventures of New Orleans.  Fall is such a beautiful time of year to have a destination wedding, especially if you plan on getting married outdoors.  The changing of the seasons brings about hundreds of shades of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens. Here are just a few of many possibilities for fall destination weddings:

Smoky Mountain Cabin Weddings

I lived in Tennessee for a few years and thought Gatlinburg was so beautiful.  Surrounded by the Smoky Mountains, this is an ideal place for a fall-themed wedding.   Rustic with a splash of elegance!

Wedding Dress: JCrew silk tricotine Allegra gown, Bride’s shoes: Kate Spade Elate, Bridal Hairpin:  Tiger Lilly Jewelry,  Bridesmaids Dress:  JCrew silk chiffon Taryn dress, Bridesmaids Flip Flops:  JCrew leather Capri sandals (gold), Bridesmaids Bouquet: Martha Stewart Weddings

New Orleans Wedding

From a tradition southern wedding to a unique theme wedding, the Magnolia Mansion is the perfect place for a fall destination wedding!  The mansion’s grand hallway is beautiful and contains statues of Aphrodite and Eros, the Greek deities of love.   Blues, reds, oranges and the gorgeous greens from the gardens and trees make for a beautiful fall wedding inside or out.

{Guest Post} Love Birds by Jacin of She Said Yes

So who is the guest blogger of today??  Today we have the wonder Jacin of She Said Yes. She is a great friend and someone with a head full of amazing inspiration. Today we are all in luck as she has prepared something really fun and really amazing for us all. Enjoy! I am so excited to be guest blogging for the lovely Allison today - her blog is filled with so much inspiration and that is right up my alley.  Thanks for having me over today, Allison!

So without further ado, here I go!

A recent trend we've seen popping up in weddings lately is incorporating the love bird - or birds of any kind, really - in to the overall wedding theme.  There are so many creative ideas out there and it was hard to whittle down my favorites, but I did my best!  Below, find some "love bird" inspiration boards in the following categories: cake toppers, paper design, and my favorites.

Cake Toppers I love these, they are each so different and could really help "top off" your lovebird theme.

Paper Design I love the color scheme in the teal/brown invite suite below, along with the tiny details involved in the letterpress.  And the wedding "poster" is so adorable too!

My Favorites Below are just a few of my favorite images I came across when searching for inspiration.  I love the ring shot on the birdhouse - so unique!

Thanks again Allison, and happy planning!
