Striped Table Cloths

I WANT THIS! Who thinks it fits in with my style of the wedding. I'm doing all burlap, lace, muslin, etc. But wouldn't strip table cloths just make everything look that much more amazing? Probably not. I know. I love way too many things.

{Guest Post} White Romantic Wedding by Blush Printables

Today's my birthday. :) Luckily I am in New York to celebrate the big 2-3 just right! And luckily for you guys, I am posting an uber amazing, uber creative, and uber everything else shoot. I'm. In. Love. Let's just say that I will definitely be pulling some inspiration from this shoot and adding it into my little wedding plans. Without further ado, I give you Jen from Blush Printables as our surprise blogger! And this shoot will anything but disappoint on this amazing Thursday that is my birthday. Enjoy! Lace covered mason jars, antique typewriters and rustic birdcages were blended together to create the ultimate vintage-romance wedding.  Photographed by Michelle of Shadowbear Photography, this Florida wedding is full of inspiration and charm.

Baby’s breath and hydrangeas fill mason jars wrapped with lace while a vintage typewriter is set out for guests to leave a little note. Escort cards, gently hung around twine, float above the rustic table for guests to find their seats.

Rosie and Michael’s delicate wedding invitation was carefully designed with a vintage border. Their wedding colors, moss green and plum, were used throughout their wedding day stationery.

Every last detail of this vintage-romance wedding was carefully put into place. Chalkboard name cards, each handwritten, were set beside each place setting while custom menus rested on top. The menus, boasting the couple’s favorite foods, mimicked the intricate vintage design from their wedding invitations.

{Guest Post} Love Birds by Jacin of She Said Yes

So who is the guest blogger of today??  Today we have the wonder Jacin of She Said Yes. She is a great friend and someone with a head full of amazing inspiration. Today we are all in luck as she has prepared something really fun and really amazing for us all. Enjoy! I am so excited to be guest blogging for the lovely Allison today - her blog is filled with so much inspiration and that is right up my alley.  Thanks for having me over today, Allison!

So without further ado, here I go!

A recent trend we've seen popping up in weddings lately is incorporating the love bird - or birds of any kind, really - in to the overall wedding theme.  There are so many creative ideas out there and it was hard to whittle down my favorites, but I did my best!  Below, find some "love bird" inspiration boards in the following categories: cake toppers, paper design, and my favorites.

Cake Toppers I love these, they are each so different and could really help "top off" your lovebird theme.

Paper Design I love the color scheme in the teal/brown invite suite below, along with the tiny details involved in the letterpress.  And the wedding "poster" is so adorable too!

My Favorites Below are just a few of my favorite images I came across when searching for inspiration.  I love the ring shot on the birdhouse - so unique!

Thanks again Allison, and happy planning!

Wedding Wednesday Finds (on Thursday!)

Sorry about the late finds but we had to with Erin some love before her wedding! Today I have put together a bunch of ecclectic images which somehow all become a sort of organic and vintage look. I guess I can't stray too far away from my wedding loves now can I? I finally ordered the first of many personalized stamps! I am getting ready to do the escort cards as well as hand stamp clothes pins. It's going to look really cute. I still need to find a DJ and a few other vendors too. I'm pretty behind right now, but I made the promise to get done with 90% of the wedding by the time I go to New York for my birthday, and you better believe that I am holding myself too that!

Now for the finds. The lovely and amazing finds. Speaking of, does anyone know where I could find a real one of these? I am adding a lot of these old windows into my wedding and it would be so beyond fitting if these were my cocktail hour tables!

Who doesn't want a bridal shower that looks like this?

I have never been a huge fan of how cupcakes look on a cupcake stand, but I love the convenience of the single cupcake and no cutting and all that. So, if you are planning on doing cupcakes, take a look at this route. I'm dying of its beauty and your guests will probably want to be your best friend.

Here is a little update on The Inspired List: The number of vendors are increasing each and everyday! We are working darn hard to get this thing really really going. There are several improvements and additions coming that will only make the site better and better. Once it fills up a little more, we get to introduce our next category....which you won't believe how cool it is!

Contain The Pretty

I have been going back and forth and pretty much in every direction trying to figure out what vases would be the best for the centerpieces. There are so many options that I love, and so many options that would work. I am pretty sure I stress the uber-small details far too much, but on the wedding day, that is what will show though! Here are a few of my favorites looks! I think I am going to do with the simple and not-so-full centerpiece look as I just seem to be so drawn to the simplicity.

Fall Table Number Inspiration

I am slightly obsessed with insanely incredible table number ideas. It is one of those insanely small details that you can do so much with, and people do take notice. I'm still working on mine, although I think I have at least made some progress. What is everyone else doing for table numbers??

For the Love of Twine

Baker's Twine has been a lovely addition to the wedding world (and just about everywhere else!) for some time. I am totally in love with the way it looks and all the different uses for it! Really, they seem to be endless. I am planning on using these for my invitations, place cards as well as for the wedding favors. But I may sneak it in a few more places here and there too.

So many great ideas huh?? In my search for twine, I realized how expensive everyone was selling it for. So, I ended buying a huge bulk of it with all the different colors (cause I didn't know which color I wanted) and ended up with SO much twine. I decided to start up a little Etsy shop and sell it for SUPER cheap. I want other brides to be able to get the quantity they want without spending $8 or $10 on it. So, I have started to list a few ( but I have a long way to go with my photography and creating the store front) for anyone that is in need of some super cheap twine. $1.5 for every 25 yards and $4 for 100 yards. Oh and I also have about 200 of those white boxes above in case your wedding favors are along the lines of something wrapped in a cute box!

Love all of these ideas so much! I'm excited to wrap up tons of stuff in cute twine! Below are the four colors I have available. You can buy it on Etsy (though not all the listings are up yet) or jut e-mail me allison@engagedandinspired.com with what color and how much!

Clockwise: Green/White, Navy blue/white, Baby blue/white, red/white.

Shipping is $2.00 anywhere in the US!

Happy Twining!

Homemade Cookie Placecards

I have been searching for the perfect table numbers recently. It is one of those small details that could just be pretty generic and no one would know or care. But, if you do something special, that will be noticed. This Bakerella proposal was amazing. So of course I followed along with the gal's wedding to see what she was up to! When she posted her place cards, I was in awe. This is insane, she is seriously super-bride! Just days before her wedding she baked and wrote each guest name and table number on a personalized cookie. Insanely amazing.

LOOK AT THESE! OMG. Crazy town :)

All wrapped up and ready to go :)

Check out the whole process and how-to on her baking blog.
